Climate Conversations Fund
Applications for the 2025 Climate Conversations Fund closed on Friday 31 October.
Addressing climate change is written into our laws. We have legally binding climate targets to reach net zero by 2050, and interim carbon budgets. The next, Carbon Budget 3, will be published in 2026.
Carbon Budget 3 will inform how Wales responds to climate change over the next five years. This period over the next five years, and beyond over the decade ahead, will be crucial in Wales’ journey to net zero and presents real potential to unlock real opportunities for a fairer and more equal Wales. That’s why we want to hear from you.
In line with the Wellbeing of Future Generations Act, you’re being invited to join the conversation and have your community’s voice heard by holding your own Climate Conversation. The insights, ideas and experiences shared during these discussions will be taken into consideration when developing the plan for Carbon Budget 3, helping to ensure a fair and inclusive response that brings health, wellbeing and financial benefits for us all.
