Get interest-free loans with Green Homes Wales

Want to keep your home at a comfortable temperature all year round? Or perhaps you're keen to lower your energy bills. Green Homes Wales is here to help you transform your home into an energy-efficient haven.

Managed by the Development Bank of Wales and backed by the Welsh Government, it is all about helping to make your home greener, cheaper to run, and more comfortable to live in.

Here's what you can expect:

  • Expert guidance
A Retrofit Coordinator will do a detailed assessment at your home, offering recommendations to boost your home's energy efficiency and reducing its carbon footprint. Whether you're considering insulation, heating upgrades, or solar panels, you'll have a clear plan to follow.

  • Flexible financing
No need to worry about upfront costs. The scheme offers interest-free loans from £1,000 to £25,000, with repayment terms of up to 10 years. And if you're diving into a bigger project, the terms can stretch even more. Plus, you'll enjoy a 6-month repayment holiday, giving your new measures time to start paying off.

  • Grant funding
On top of the loans, you might also be eligible for grant funding to cover specific projects. This means you can enjoy the benefits of a greener home with less out-of-pocket expense.
