Trees and Timber will showcase how collaborative policy-making is shaping the future of Wales’ woodlands. Guided by the Woodlands for Wales Strategy, the team is working to support tree planting for carbon storage, grow Welsh timber for a low-carbon economy, and develop a National Forest for the people of Wales. Learn how sustainable forest management is keeping our woodlands healthy, resilient, and thriving for generations to come.

The Welsh Government Energy Service

The Welsh Government Energy Service is helping to power Wales’ transition to a zero carbon economy. Since 2018, the service has supported public sector organisations and community groups with funding, expert guidance and practical support to deliver renewable energy, improve efficiency, and cut carbon emissions. Visitors to their virtual stand can learn how projects across Wales are creating a cleaner, more sustainable future.

WLGA Climate Change Support Programme

Led by the Welsh Local Government Association and funded by Welsh Government, the Climate Change Support Programme is helping councils across Wales turn climate ambition into action. The team will showcase how local authorities are working together to meet the goal of a net zero Welsh public sector by 2030 - through shared expertise, joint procurement, and innovative projects that tackle both climate and nature emergencies.
