Be part of the discussions at the Wales Climate Week virtual conference

This year’s virtual conference has been designed to be fully interactive, so get ready to be part of something that really matters.

As stakeholders, your involvement is crucial, and the virtual conference is your chance to help shape Wales’ climate future for the next five years and beyond.

Whether you work in the public sector, business or the community, and will be joining us from an office, a boardroom or your kitchen table, your voice matters.

We all have a role to play in realising the opportunities linked to tackling climate change and this year’s virtual conference is offering participants a series of different ways in which they can engage in discussions.

You can get involved by sharing your knowledge, insight, experience and thoughts, especially with regards to how Wales can lead when it comes to how we travel, heat our homes and care for our land.

Comment in our chat function

During all the podcasts and panel sessions, participants will be asked to join the discussions by inviting them to comment, ask questions and share insight via our chat function. All the information shared by participants during the conference will be gathered and will help inform the Welsh Government on shaping future policy decisions.

Complete our interactive polls

During the conference there will be a series of interactive polls which will pose questions from previous sessions. These polls will be really important for helping to benchmark views, opinions and reactions on discussions raised during the week. They will also offer participants the chance to share their thoughts or share insight on the topics being covered.

Attend a Climate Co-Lab session

As well as offering attendees the chance to comment or ask questions in the chat function during every talk, as part of this year’s conference, there will be facilitated collaborative workshops. There will be one interactive workshop held on each day of the conference with each one exploring the challenges facing the sector.

If you registered your interest to join our Climate Co-labs when you registered for the event, you will be contacted to join the discussion and share your experience and expertise on your chosen topic area. Unfortunately, these will be closed sessions, so only those who register to attend them will be invited to join. If you have any questions regarding these or would like to change your response please email walesclimateweek@equinox.wales

Make a pledge

Either individually or as part of an organisation, the small changes people can make, can make a big difference. If you as an organisation are interested in making a pledge to change the way your colleagues travel, use energy and make food choices, then take a look at the pledge page with a series of suggestions or tips.

The Wales Climate Week 2025 virtual conference is providing a powerful opportunity for us to act together and create a practical plan for the next five years and beyond. The virtual conference, along with the regional workshops and Climate Conversation Fund events will provide valuable insight from a breadth of people across Wales. This insight will help shape future policy decisions around funding and infrastructure.

Take a booth in our virtual exhibition space

This year, stakeholders are being offered the chance to take a fully customisable booth in our digital conference centre, where they will be able to showcase resources, host discussions and jump into one-to-one conversations with other stakeholders. For more information on our exhibition area click here.

Thank you for getting involved and we look forward to seeing you at Wales Climate Week 2025.
